Veterans Day Activities

November is the month we celebrate our nation’s veterans.  Be sure to visit our Veterans Day page, which features great information on many of the coins and medals that honor veterans.

This page also links to several free Veterans Day teaching resources, including lesson plans and Teacher Features.

Thanksgiving Activities

Visit our Thanksgiving Day page to learn why and how we celebrate this special day, who the Pilgrims were, and where you can find related activities for your classroom.

Try our Coin-a-Copia Teacher Feature, in which students use glyphs and a legend to analyze and interpret data.

New on the site this month: the Denali National Park and Preserve Quarter Day in the Classroom page.  This special page of related activities and information will help you make the release of this quarter a memorable occasion for your students!
