On June 13, 2024, the United States Mint attended the Northeast Oklahoma Coin Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Show attendees and customers stopped by the Mint booth to purchase 2024 products to add to their collections. The stunning American Buffalo 2024 One Ounce Gold Proof Coin was in high demand and caught the eye of many participants at the show.

The Mint also engaged with younger collectors and provided them with education materials to take home. “Seeing the joy of a young collector just learning about coins, building a collection, and getting educated on the value of money makes the trip to this coin show worth it,” said Chris Bailey, Convention and Retail Sales Manager, U.S. Mint.

Throughout the event, the Mint staff connected with customers on a variety of Mint coin programs including the American Women’s Quarters™ Program, the Armed Forces Medals Program, the American Innovation $1 Coin Program, the Harriet Tubman Commemorative Coin Program, and the Greatest Generation Commemorative Coin Program.

“It’s great to connect with Mint customers,” said Bailey. “They are all very passionate about the coins they have and want. These enthusiasts are the heartbeat of the Mint’s sales, and they appreciate being able to purchase a coin or medal they’ve been wanting to add to their collection.”
